Terms & Guarantee

A plain-language summary of how we work and what you can expect. Your statutory consumer rights under EU, German and Croatian law always apply and are not limited by anything here.

1. The guarantee — you only pay when you love it

No deposit, and nothing to pay up front.
We agree a fixed price, in writing, before any work begins.
We design and build your whole site, then show it to you on a private link.
We refine it until it's right, and you decide when it's right.
You only pay once you approve the site and we launch it.
If it isn't right and you decide not to go ahead, you owe nothing.

2. Revisions and approval

While we build the site we agreed, revisions are included until you're happy with it. We gather your feedback in rounds so we can work efficiently, and we keep going until the details feel right to you.

3. If you decide not to go ahead

Until you approve and pay, the work stays ours and isn't published; you're under no obligation to proceed and you owe nothing. Once you've paid in full, everything becomes yours (see below).

4. Ownership — you own everything

On full payment, the website, its code and the design files are yours.
Your domain is registered in your name.
We hand over the code (in your own GitHub, or as a zip) and admin access to your hosting.
You're never locked in: if you leave, we transfer everything to you, with no exit fee.

5. Care Plan (optional)

Included free for the first year with every package.
After the first year it continues at €15/month unless you cancel.
Cancel any time by emailing billing@herte-projekt.com: your plan stops at the end of the month you're paid up to, with nothing charged after that.
It covers hosting and keeping your domain live, reconnecting your Instagram and Facebook feeds when they break, and up to 2 small content changes a month (new text, a swapped photo, a fixed number). Larger changes are quoted up front.
Cancelling the Care Plan never affects your ownership of the site, domain or code.

6. Other work and prices

Prices are in euros. Occasional changes without a Care Plan are €75/hour, and migrating an existing site (up to 50 pages) is €400. We agree any such work, and its price, with you before we start.

7. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this summary limits the mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under EU, German or Croatian law, including, where applicable, a consumer's right of withdrawal. For our company details see the Impressum; for data handling, the Privacy Policy.

8. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

If you are a consumer, you generally have the right to withdraw from a contract for services within 14 days, without giving a reason. To exercise it, send a clear statement (for example, an email to legal@herte-projekt.com) before the period ends.

Because we begin work only at your express request and you pay only once the finished website has been approved by you and put live, the work is, at that point, a fully performed service. Where you have asked us to begin during the withdrawal period and expressly acknowledged that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service is fully performed, the right ends on completion. Until then — consistent with our guarantee — you can stop at any time and owe nothing.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and any non-contractual obligations arising from them are governed by the law of the Republic of Croatia, where HERTE PROJEKT d.o.o. is established. This choice of law does not deprive you, as a consumer, of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence. The courts of Zagreb, Croatia have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rules that allow you to bring or be sued in the courts of your place of residence.
